Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup
My youngest was diagnosed with Influenza B and I wanted to make something good for him at lunchtime. In case you aren't already aware it is virtually impossible to find canned soup that doesn't have soy or rice in it so I decided to throw some ingredients together that I had on hand. He said it was very good. Enjoy this simple and quick recipe.

Egg noodles - half a bag
Canned carrots - 1/2
Chicken shredded - I used a leftover breast from chicken parmigiana I had fixed a couple nights before
Thyme
Garlic powder
Salt and pepper
1 can of low sodium chicken broth
Add water to your liking using broth can
Boil egg noodles according to package directions. It's up to you to drain. I used the liquid from the noodles and then added the broth. Add carrots, chicken and seasoning to your liking.
